Bauchi SSA on Christian Affairs Dismisses Claims Linking Governor Bala Mohammed to Banditry

The Senior Special Assistant on Christian Religious Affairs to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, Pastor Zakka Luka Magaji has dismissed allegations accusing the Governor of sponsoring banditry, describing the claims as false and misleading.
In a statement made available to Newsmen in Bauchi, Pastor Zakka Magaji stated that at no time has Governor Bala Mohammed sponsored supported or condoned insecurity, stressing that the allegations were unfounded deliberate fabrications intended to undermine public confidence nationwide.
The statement emphasized that Governor Mohammed has demonstrated proactive leadership on security, remaining committed to protecting lives and property while promoting peace unity stability and lawful governance across Bauchi State consistently.
It noted that the administration governs inclusively, ensuring equitable treatment for Christians indigenous communities nonindigenes and all ethnic religious groups without discrimination throughout Bauchi State under democratic constitutional principles.
The Senior Special Assistant therefore condemned the allegations and reaffirmed unwavering support for Governor Bala Mohammed, citing documented engagements with Christian communities as evidence of his commitment to unity security and responsible governance.
