The Bauchi State Infrastructure Development and Maintenance Agency (BASIDMA) has officially flagged off the rehabilitation of the Kafin Madaki Road in Ganjuwa Local Government Area as part of ongoing efforts by the Bauchi State Government to improve road infrastructure across the state.

The Director General of BASIDMA, Engr. Abdulrahman Maiauduga, performed the flag-off of the project on July 21, 2026, saying the rehabilitation of the long-neglected road is aimed at easing transportation challenges and improving the socio-economic activities of communities along the route.

Engr. Maiauduga explained that the road had remained in a deplorable condition for many years, creating serious difficulties for residents, motorists, and other road users. He noted that its rehabilitation would enhance safety, improve connectivity, and stimulate economic growth in the area.

He said the project is in line with the vision of the Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, to provide quality infrastructure in both urban and rural communities, thereby improving the living standards of the people and promoting sustainable development.
