NUJ Bauchi Felicitates Gov. Bala Mohammed At 67

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Bauchi State Council, has congratulated Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, on the occasion of his 67th birthday, commending his visionary leadership and unwavering support for the media.

In a press release jointly signed by the NUJ Chairman, Comrade Umar Sa’idu Bauchi State Council and his Secretary Isah Garba Gadau, said the union extended its warmest birthday greetings to the governor on behalf of all working journalists in the state.

“As you add another year of distinguished selfless service to humanity, we celebrate your remarkable political career, marked by dedication, vision, and impactful leadership,” the statement read.

The NUJ also lauded Governor Mohammed for his continuous support to journalists and the media in Bauchi State, noting that his administration has fostered a culture of press freedom and professional development for media practitioners.

“Your untiring support for journalists and the media in Bauchi State has fostered a culture of press freedom and professional growth, necessitating our collective resolve to join in the celebration of your 67th birthday,” the statement added.

The union wished the governor a happy, healthy, and fulfilling year ahead, while reaffirming its commitment to promoting responsible journalism and strengthening collaboration with the state government
