Bauchi, RMAFC Collaborate to Strengthen Allocation Process

A delegation from the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission has commenced a data verification exercise in Bauchi State as part of efforts to ensure accuracy in national records used for revenue sharing.
Leader of the delegation, Kabir Muhammad Mashi, said the exercise is designed to obtain and compare local data with existing records, with a view to enhancing credibility in the ongoing nationwide assignment.
Kabir Muhammad Mashi assured that the team would carry out its responsibilities with transparency and accountability, expressing confidence that the outcome of the review would be acceptable to all stakeholders.
Receiving the delegation, the Bauchi State Government reaffirmed its readiness to fully support the commission in achieving its mandate.
Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Aminu Hammayo, noted that accurate and updated data remain vital in guiding decisions on equitable distribution of resources among the three tiers of government.
The Governor expressed optimism that strengthened collaboration with the commission would boost confidence in the allocation system and ensure fairness for all states in the federation.
