Ningi Local Government Provides Household Items and Solar Power to Police Facilities

The Ningi Local Government Council has supplied household items to the residential quarters of the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the Ningi Division.

The items include a bed, mattress, room drawer, lock-up cabinet and other essential materials aimed at improving comfort for the police officer.

 

In addition to this, the council also installed solar-powered electrification systems at both the Divisional Police Headquarters and the Zonal Headquarters of the Police Command in Ningi. The initiative is part of efforts to improve power supply and provide a conducive working environment for security personnel.

 

Speaking on the development, the Chairman of Ningi Local Government said the support is meant to boost the morale of police officers and strengthen security within the local government and neighbouring areas.

He explained that the council is committed to complementing the efforts of security agencies to ensure peace and order.

In his remarks, the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ningi Division, Superintendent Surajo Birnin Kudu, expressed appreciation to the Chairman for what he described as a timely intervention.

He noted that the gesture will enhance the effectiveness of the police in carrying out their duties.

Superintendent Surajo Birnin Kudu also assured the council of the cooperation and continuous support of the police in maintaining law and order.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the police command to sustaining peace and stability across Ningi and its surrounding communities.
