NUJ Bauchi Council Hails Governor Bala Over Successful Economic And Investment Summit

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Bauchi State Council, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed, on the successful hosting of the First Bauchi Economic and Investment Summit, describing it as a major milestone in the state’s economic transformation agenda.

In a press release issued by Isah Garba Gadau, Secretary of the NUJ Bauchi Council, the union said the summit’s outcome, which attracted investments worth billions of naira, reflects the governor’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the economic growth and development of the state.

The statement commended Governor Mohammed’s efforts in transforming Bauchi State’s economy and expressed optimism that the investments secured through the summit will soon translate into prosperity, job creation, and sustainable growth for the people.

The NUJ Bauchi Council also lauded the governor’s decision to name facilities at the Ahmadu Bello Sardauna Sokoto International Conference Centre after former governors of the state, irrespective of political differences. The union described the gesture as “a mark of good leadership and deep respect for the contributions of past leaders — an act worthy of emulation.”

“As partners in progress, journalists will continue to support the state government through constructive criticism and professional engagement for the overall growth and development of Bauchi State,” the statement added
