FAWOYDI Named Nigeria’s Most Outstanding NGO Of The Year By National Legislative Writers Forum
The Fahimta Women and Youth Development Initiative (FAWOYDI) has received the Excellence Leadership Award 2024/2025 from the Legislative Writers Forum of the National Assembly, Abuja, in recognition of its exceptional contributions to advocacy, community empowerment, and inclusive leadership across Nigeria.
Presenting the award, Mr. Joseph Noel, who represented the forum, described FAWOYDI as “a shining example of purposeful leadership and grassroots impact.” He noted that the organization’s unwavering commitment to social justice, gender equality, and youth development continues to inspire meaningful change in communities nationwide.
FAWOYDI was honoured as the Most Outstanding Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) of the Year, underscoring its dedication to amplifying women’s voices, promoting equality, and fostering empowerment across various sectors.
Reacting to the recognition, the Executive Director of FAWOYDI, Mrs. Dinatu Daniel, expressed deep appreciation to the organizers for acknowledging the organization’s work and impact.

Since its inception, FAWOYDI has been at the forefront of women’s rights advocacy, youth development, and social inclusion, implementing numerous initiatives that have improved lives and promoted sustainable growth across Nigeria.
