Kango Engages Dan’kade PDP Leaders, Reinforces Grassroots Unity

The Bauchi State Commissioner for Higher Education and Regional Integration, Hon. Hajiya Hadiza Abdulkadir Kango, has held a strategic meeting with leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Dan’kade Ward in Bauchi Local Government Area, as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots engagement and party unity.

 

The meeting brought together the PDP Ward Chairman of Dan’kade, Malam Dan Bala Ustaz, the Deputy Chairman of the PDP in Bauchi LGA, Hon. Mamman Zodo, ward executives, the Dan’kade Councillor, Hon. Khalid Muhammad, and other key party stakeholders, reflecting the importance attached to the interaction.

 

In her remarks, Hon. Kango expressed deep appreciation for the leadership style, discipline, humility and steadfast support demonstrated by the Dan’kade ward leaders. She described them as committed party men whose loyalty and sacrifices continue to sustain the PDP and support the state government.

 

The Commissioner noted that the visit was also to seek their advice and guidance as critical stakeholders, stressing that inclusive leadership and constant consultation with grassroots leaders are essential for effective governance and political stability.

 

She called on party members to sustain unity and cooperation, emphasizing that development can only be achieved when party leaders and members work together in harmony to advance shared goals and serve the people better.

 

Hon. Kango further reaffirmed her total support for the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, urging party members to remain united behind his administration. She strongly dismissed allegations linking the Governor to terrorism, describing him as a peace-loving leader committed to peace, security and development in the state.

 

Responding, the PDP Deputy Chairman in Bauchi Local Government Area, Hon. Mamman Zodo, advised the Commissioner to continue with her open, attentive and inclusive leadership style, noting that such an approach would further strengthen unity within the party and promote effective governance.

 

Similarly, the PDP Ward Chairman of Dan’kade, Malam Dan Bala Ustaz, prayed for the Commissioner’s success, asking God to grant her wisdom and strength to effectively discharge her responsibilities, while wishing her continued success within the present administration.
