The Chairman of Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Garba Hassan Bajama, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to prioritising security, healthcare, education and community development to improve the quality of life of the people.

Bajama made the pledge while interacting with journalists in Bauchi, assuring that his administration remains focused on sustaining peace, promoting progress and driving grassroots development across the local government area.

He stressed that meaningful development cannot be achieved without lasting peace and security, urging residents to support government initiatives and embrace collective responsibility, noting that unity and cooperation are essential for attaining shared development goals.

On security, the chairman disclosed that four operational vehicles and motorcycles have been provided in the Duguri axis to strengthen surveillance, support security operatives and enhance the protection of lives and property.

In the education sector, Bajama said solar-powered electricity has been installed at the model secondary school in Yelwan Duguri, constructed by Governor Bala Mohammed, to improve teaching and learning conditions and boost academic performance.

He also dismissed allegations linking Governor Bala Mohammed to terrorism, describing them as false, baseless and malicious, and praised the governor for creating new emirates, appointing district heads and establishing the Duguri Emirate, while praying for peace, stability and prosperity in Bauchi State and Nigeria.
